Description

This market will resolve to "Up" if the Close price for Rocket Lab USA, Inc. (RKLB) on June 26, 2026 is higher than the Close price for Rocket Lab USA, Inc. (RKLB) on the most recent prior trading day. This market will resolve to "Down" if the Close price for Rocket Lab USA, Inc. (RKLB) on June 26, 2026 is lower than the Close price for Rocket Lab USA, Inc. (RKLB) on the most recent prior trading day. E.g., ordinarily, a market on Monday would refer to the previous Friday for its most recent closing price, unless that Friday were a market holiday, in which case it would refer to Thursday, or the next most recent trading day. If the two specified closing prices are exactly equal, this market will resolve 50-50. Closing prices will be used exactly as published by Pyth, without rounding. If Rocket Lab USA, Inc. (RKLB) does not trade at all during the regular session, the market will resolve 50-50. For a standard full trading session, the closing price refers to the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle corresponding to the final minute of regular trading hours on the primary exchange. If either of the relevant days has no valid Pyth Close value for the 1-minute candle corresponding to the end of regular trading hours on the primary exchange, the market will use the last valid Pyth price achieved during the regular trading hours of the primary exchange as the effective closing price. If no valid Pyth price exists for that trading day due to a system outage, data failure, or other technical disruption, the official closing price published by the primary exchange on which the listed security trades will be used to determine the closing price for that day. Only prices achieved during the regular trading hours of the primary exchange on which the listed security trades (typically 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM ET) will be considered. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed security during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Pyth. The resolution source for this market will be Pyth, specifically the "Close" values for the relevant 1-minute candle available at https://pythdata.app/explore/Equity.US.RKLB%2FUSD. Historical 1-minute candles may be accessed by appending a Unix timestamp (seconds) to the Pyth chart URL using the "t=" parameter. Any timestamp within the listed market time frame may be used to view the relevant candle data (e.g., https://pythdata.app/explore/Equity.US.RKLB%2FUSD?t=1773432000).

Frequently asked questions

On Polymarket, the Rocket Lab stock price market dashboard displays real-time odds on whether RKLB will close up or down on June 26. Traders can monitor the current price of each outcome, historical price movements, and trading activity to assess market sentiment. The dashboard reflects live consensus from all participants trading this market, updated continuously as new trades execute. This gives you a transparent view of how the market is pricing the probability of each direction, helping you understand what traders collectively expect for that trading session.

Prediction market odds and traditional analyst forecasts operate on different principles. Analysts typically issue price targets and ratings based on fundamental research and models, while this market aggregates real-money bets from traders who profit or lose based on actual outcomes. Prediction markets often incorporate forward-looking sentiment faster than consensus analyst views, since traders have direct financial incentive to price in breaking news and shifting conditions. Comparing the two can reveal where professional opinion and market-based probability diverge, offering useful perspective on the event's uncertainty.

On Polymarket, traders set the odds through an automated market maker that balances buy and sell orders for each outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each side reflects the cumulative conviction of all participants; as more traders back one direction, that outcome's price rises and the opposing side falls. You can enter at any time by accepting the current price or placing a limit order. The spread between bid and ask prices narrows or widens based on liquidity and recent trading volume, so checking the order book helps you understand execution costs.

This market resolves around Jun 26, 2026, once the trading day concludes and RKLB's closing price is verified. The outcome is determined by whether the stock closes higher or lower than the previous session's close. Resolution is confirmed once the final price is available from credible public sources, at which point the winning side receives its payout and the market settles. Traders should monitor for any corporate actions or market halts that could affect the official closing price on that date.

Several catalysts could shift odds before June 26. Rocket Lab earnings announcements, product launches, or significant contract wins would likely drive bullish sentiment, while operational setbacks or broader market downturns could pressure the stock lower. Macroeconomic data, interest rate decisions, and sector-wide aerospace or defense news may also influence trader positioning. Insider transactions, analyst upgrades or downgrades, and changes in competitive dynamics could trigger repricing. Real-time news flow and intraday momentum on the resolution date itself often create final volatility, so watching for late-breaking developments is key to timing your trades.
