Description

This market will resolve to "Up" if the Close price for Rocket Lab USA, Inc. (RKLB) on June 15, 2026 is higher than the Close price for Rocket Lab USA, Inc. (RKLB) on the most recent prior trading day. This market will resolve to "Down" if the Close price for Rocket Lab USA, Inc. (RKLB) on June 15, 2026 is lower than the Close price for Rocket Lab USA, Inc. (RKLB) on the most recent prior trading day. E.g., ordinarily, a market on Monday would refer to the previous Friday for its most recent closing price, unless that Friday were a market holiday, in which case it would refer to Thursday, or the next most recent trading day. If the two specified closing prices are exactly equal, this market will resolve 50-50. Closing prices will be used exactly as published by Pyth, without rounding. If Rocket Lab USA, Inc. (RKLB) does not trade at all during the regular session, the market will resolve 50-50. For a standard full trading session, the closing price refers to the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle corresponding to the final minute of regular trading hours on the primary exchange. If either of the relevant days has no valid Pyth Close value for the 1-minute candle corresponding to the end of regular trading hours on the primary exchange, the market will use the last valid Pyth price achieved during the regular trading hours of the primary exchange as the effective closing price. If no valid Pyth price exists for that trading day due to a system outage, data failure, or other technical disruption, the official closing price published by the primary exchange on which the listed security trades will be used to determine the closing price for that day. Only prices achieved during the regular trading hours of the primary exchange on which the listed security trades (typically 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM ET) will be considered. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed security during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Pyth. The resolution source for this market will be Pyth, specifically the "Close" values for the relevant 1-minute candle available at https://pythdata.app/explore/Equity.US.RKLB%2FUSD. Historical 1-minute candles may be accessed by appending a Unix timestamp (seconds) to the Pyth chart URL using the "t=" parameter. Any timestamp within the listed market time frame may be used to view the relevant candle data (e.g., https://pythdata.app/explore/Equity.US.RKLB%2FUSD?t=1773432000).

Frequently asked questions

On Polymarket, the Rocket Lab stock price market dashboard displays real-time odds on whether RKLB will close higher or lower on June 15. Traders can monitor the current probability, historical price movements, and trading activity as participants buy and sell shares reflecting their conviction on the stock's direction. The dashboard provides a live snapshot of market sentiment, allowing you to track how confidence in an up or down outcome shifts as new information emerges. This gives you a transparent view of collective expectations around the company's near-term performance.

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst price targets because they reflect real-money incentives and crowd wisdom rather than individual research calls. While Wall Street analysts may issue 12-month outlooks or earnings estimates, this market isolates a single-day binary outcome, creating a different lens on near-term momentum. Traders here are betting directly on price action, which can incorporate breaking news, technical signals, and sentiment faster than formal research updates. Comparing the implied probability here to consensus estimates can reveal whether the market is pricing in more bullish or bearish conviction than the analyst community.

On Polymarket, traders set the odds by buying and selling shares of the Up and Down outcomes, with the price of each share reflecting its implied probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market price converges toward the true probability as more capital flows in, rewarding accurate predictions and penalizing poor ones. Each share costs between $0 and $1, and your profit or loss depends on whether your chosen outcome resolves to $1 (correct) or $0 (incorrect). This mechanism ensures that prices remain anchored to real-money risk and reward.

This market resolves around Jun 15, 2026, at which point the outcome is confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The Up outcome wins if RKLB closes above its opening price on that date; Down wins if it closes at or below. Once the market closes, traders who backed the correct outcome receive their payout, while those on the losing side forfeit their stake. Resolution is final and based on the actual closing price recorded on the settlement date.

Several catalysts could shift trader conviction before the market closes. Earnings announcements, guidance updates, or major contract wins or losses would likely drive sharp repricing. Broader market moves in aerospace and defense stocks, changes in interest rates, or shifts in space industry sentiment could also influence momentum. Regulatory news, competitor announcements, or macroeconomic data releases may sway the odds. Technical levels and options expiration activity on the underlying stock can create additional pressure, while social media or news coverage of Rocket Lab could amplify volatility in either direction.
