This market will resolve according to Pepsi's organic revenue growth (year-over-year) for the upcoming second fiscal quarter, as reported in its official company earnings materials. The specified metric will be considered as reported in the company's official earnings materials. Subsequent revisions will not be considered. If the specified company's official earnings materials for the specified quarter are released, and the specified metric is not included, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. If the specified company does not release quarterly earnings materials for the specified quarter by August 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. If the specified metric is reported as a range rather than a specific number, the midpoint of the range will be used for resolution of this market. The resolution source for this market is Pepsi's official company earnings materials, including press releases, investor presentations, and regulatory filings. If the specified metric is not reported in these materials, recordings or transcripts of the company's earnings webcast may also be used. Prediction markets and traditional analyst consensus often diverge because they incorporate different information sets and incentive structures. While Wall Street equity analysts publish earnings estimates and revenue forecasts based on company guidance and historical trends, this market aggregates real-money bets from traders who may factor in broader economic conditions, consumer spending patterns, and competitive pressures. Comparing the current odds in this market to published analyst consensus on PepsiCo's Q2 organic growth can reveal whether traders expect results to beat or miss consensus expectations. Such gaps sometimes signal emerging risks or opportunities that traditional research has not yet fully priced in.
This market resolves around Jul 9, 2026, once PepsiCo's second-quarter earnings results are publicly available. The outcome is determined by whether the company's reported organic revenue growth meets or falls below the 2% threshold. Resolution is verified against credible public sources, including PepsiCo's official earnings announcements and SEC filings. Traders holding positions in this market will see their bets settled based on the final organic growth figure disclosed by the company during its Q2 earnings call or press release.
Several catalysts could shift odds before resolution. Quarterly same-store sales reports from major retailers offer early signals about consumer demand for Pepsi products. Management commentary on pricing power, volume trends, and cost inflation during investor conferences or guidance updates can reshape expectations. Broader economic data—including consumer spending reports, inflation readings, and currency movements—may affect both revenue growth and trader sentiment. Competitor earnings and category-wide trends in beverage consumption also influence how traders assess PepsiCo's organic growth trajectory. Any material change to company guidance or unexpected operational challenges would likely trigger significant repricing.
