Description

This market will resolve to "Up" if the Close price for Palantir (Pyth PLTR/USD) on July 2, 2026 is strictly higher than the Close price for Palantir (Pyth PLTR/USD) on June 25, 2026. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The Close price for Palantir (Pyth PLTR/USD) captured on June 25, 2026, was $107.25200. Resolution source: Pyth PLTR/USD price feed. Other exchanges, spot markets, and oracles will not be used. For example, a weekly Friday market would ordinarily compare that Friday's Close price with the previous Friday's Close price, unless that previous Friday was a market holiday. In that case, it would compare against Thursday's Close price, or the next most recent trading day. If Palantir (PLTR) does not trade at all during the regular session on July 2, 2026, this market will resolve to "Down". For a standard full trading session, the Close price refers to the "Close" value of the 1-minute Pyth candle corresponding to the final minute of regular trading hours on the primary exchange. If either relevant trading day has no valid Pyth Close value for the 1-minute candle corresponding to the end of regular trading hours on the primary exchange, the last valid Pyth price during that day's regular trading hours will be used as the effective Close price. If no valid Pyth price exists for that trading day due to a system outage, data failure, or other technical disruption, the official closing price published by the primary exchange on which PLTR is listed will be used to determine the Close price for that day. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting PLTR during the relevant time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Pyth.

Frequently asked questions

On Limitless, the dashboard for the Palantir weekly price movement market displays real-time odds on whether PLTR stock closes up or down over a weekly period. Traders can monitor the current probability assigned to each outcome, review historical price movements within the prediction market, and track trading activity. The interface shows how market participants are pricing the likelihood of upward versus downward movement, updated continuously as new trades execute. This live data helps traders assess consensus sentiment around Palantir's near-term price direction and identify shifting market expectations.

Prediction market odds and traditional analyst forecasts operate on different timescales and methodologies. While Wall Street analysts typically issue longer-term price targets based on fundamental research, this market reflects real-time trader expectations for a specific weekly outcome. Prediction markets often incorporate information faster than consensus analyst updates, since traders have direct financial incentive to price in breaking news and technical shifts. Comparing the two can reveal whether professional consensus aligns with crowd-sourced market pricing, though each serves distinct purposes in investment decision-making.

On Limitless, this market is priced through an automated market maker mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The cost of shares adjusts dynamically based on order flow, so larger trades move the odds more significantly than smaller ones. Traders profit by buying low and selling high, or by correctly predicting the outcome and holding until resolution. The platform displays the current implied probability for each side, allowing participants to assess whether they believe the market price fairly reflects the true likelihood of upward or downward movement.

This market resolves around Jul 2, 2026, at which point the outcome is confirmed once Palantir's weekly price movement is verifiable from credible public sources. The resolution hinges on whether PLTR closes above or below its opening price for the specified week. Traders holding the winning outcome receive their payout, while those on the losing side forfeit their stake. The exact closing price and timing are determined by standard market data, ensuring an objective and transparent settlement process.

Several catalysts can shift odds in this market before resolution. Earnings announcements, guidance revisions, or major contract wins typically drive significant repricing. Macroeconomic data—interest rate decisions, inflation reports, or tech sector sentiment shifts—can also influence Palantir's weekly trajectory. Insider trading activity, analyst upgrades or downgrades, and geopolitical developments affecting defense and intelligence spending may sway trader positioning. Technical chart patterns and momentum indicators often trigger algorithmic trading, while broader market rallies or selloffs in growth stocks can push PLTR directionally. Real-time news flow and social media sentiment occasionally accelerate odds movement as new information reaches traders.
