This market will resolve according to the official closing price for Palantir (PLTR) on the final day of trading of the specified week (normally Friday). If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. If the final session of the week is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Yahoo Finance after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Palantir (PLTR) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/PLTR/history, published under "Historical Prices."

Prediction markets and traditional analyst forecasts operate on different timescales and methodologies. While Wall Street equity analysts publish price targets based on fundamental research and earnings models, this market aggregates real-time trader conviction through direct financial incentives. Analysts often revise targets quarterly or after earnings; prediction markets update continuously as new information emerges. Comparing the two can reveal where the crowd sees near-term catalysts that analysts may not yet have priced in, or conversely, where consensus estimates diverge from market expectations for Palantir's closing price.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each price bracket for PLTR's closing price has its own contract, and the cost to buy a share reflects the market's implied probability of that outcome occurring. Prices adjust dynamically as traders enter and exit positions, ensuring the market remains efficient. The sum of all outcome probabilities equals 100 percent, so observing which brackets command the highest prices reveals where the crowd expects the stock to land by the settlement date.
This market resolves around Jul 3, 2026, once the week concludes and Palantir's official closing price is confirmed. The outcome is determined by verifying PLTR's closing price against credible public financial sources on that date. Whichever price bracket contains the actual close becomes the winning outcome, and traders holding shares in that bracket receive their payout. Resolution is automatic once the closing price is published and verified, ensuring a transparent and objective settlement.
Several catalysts could shift trader positioning in this market. Earnings announcements, guidance revisions, or major contract wins would directly impact Palantir's stock price and trader expectations. Broader market movements, interest rate decisions, and sector rotation in defense and software stocks also influence PLTR. Insider trading disclosures, analyst upgrades or downgrades, and macroeconomic data releases can trigger rapid repricing. Additionally, geopolitical developments affecting government spending or Palantir's core customer base may prompt traders to adjust their bets on where the stock will close by the settlement week.
