This market will resolve according to the official closing price for Palantir (PLTR) on the final day of trading of the specified week (normally Friday). If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. If the final session of the week is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Yahoo Finance after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Palantir (PLTR) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/PLTR/history, published under "Historical Prices."
Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect real-money trader conviction about PLTR's weekly close and often diverge from traditional equity analyst price targets. While sell-side analysts typically publish 12-month outlooks based on fundamental models, prediction markets price near-term catalysts and technical momentum over a one-week horizon. Market participants may assign higher or lower probability to specific price brackets than consensus estimates suggest, particularly around earnings announcements or macroeconomic shifts. Comparing the two reveals whether traders expect PLTR to outperform or underperform analyst consensus by the week of June 1.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, the PLTR weekly close market is priced using an automated market maker or order-book model where traders buy and sell shares corresponding to each price bracket outcome. Each outcome contract trades independently, with its price reflecting the probability traders assign to that bracket. Liquidity and trading volume concentrate around outcomes nearest to current spot price, while wider brackets typically trade at lower prices. The market resolves based on PLTR's official closing price on the final trading day of the week ending June 5, 2026, with payouts distributed to holders of the correct outcome bracket.
The market resolves at Jun 5, 2026, corresponding to the close of trading on the final business day of the week ending June 5, 2026. Resolution is determined by PLTR's official closing price on that date as reported by major financial data providers. Traders holding shares of the outcome bracket that contains the actual closing price receive full payout, while all other outcome holders receive nothing. The specific price brackets and settlement methodology are defined in the market's terms at launch, ensuring clear and objective resolution criteria.
Key catalysts for PLTR price movement during the week of June 1 include quarterly earnings releases, analyst upgrades or downgrades, macroeconomic data affecting defense and commercial software spending, geopolitical developments impacting government contracts, and broader equity market volatility. Company-specific news such as major contract wins, executive changes, or guidance revisions can drive sharp intraday swings. Sector rotation between growth and value stocks, Federal Reserve policy signals, and tech-sector momentum also influence weekly close outcomes. Traders monitor these signals to adjust positions and reprrice outcome brackets as new information emerges.
