Description

This market will resolve according to the Close price for Palantir Technologies Inc. (PLTR) on the final day of trading of the week specified in the title (normally Friday). If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. Closing prices will be used exactly as published by Pyth, without rounding. For a standard full trading session, the closing price refers to the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle corresponding to the final minute of regular trading hours on the primary exchange. If the relevant session is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle corresponding to the final minute of that shortened session will be used. If the relevant day has no valid Pyth Close value for the 1-minute candle corresponding to the end of regular trading hours on the primary exchange, the market will use the last valid Pyth price achieved during the regular trading hours of the primary exchange as the effective closing price. If no valid Pyth price exists for that trading day due to a system outage, data failure, or other technical disruption, the official closing price published by the primary exchange on which the listed security trades will be used to determine the closing price for that day. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed security during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Pyth. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Pyth after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market will be Pyth, specifically the "Close" values for the relevant 1-minute candle for Palantir Technologies Inc. (PLTR) available at https://pythdata.app/explore/Equity.US.PLTR%2FUSD.

Frequently asked questions

The Palantir weekly closing price market dashboard on Polymarket tracks real-time odds and historical price movements for where PLTR will close during the week ending Jul 24, 2026. Traders use this market to express views on Palantir's stock performance over a defined seven-day window. The dashboard displays current implied probabilities for each outcome bracket, 24-hour volume of $2,453, and cumulative trading activity. This allows participants to monitor both consensus expectations and recent trading momentum as the resolution date approaches.

Prediction market odds reflect real-money trader conviction and often diverge from traditional analyst price targets. While equity analysts typically issue quarterly or annual forecasts, this market aggregates live expectations over a single week, making it more responsive to near-term catalysts and sentiment shifts. Comparing the implied probabilities here to published analyst consensus can reveal whether the market is pricing in optimism or caution that Wall Street consensus has not yet fully captured. Both data sources offer value: analysts provide fundamental research, while prediction markets show what informed traders are willing to bet on.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader orders into real-time probability quotes for each outcome bracket. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders buy and sell shares corresponding to their view of where PLTR will close, and the price of each share reflects its implied probability. Higher trading volume typically narrows spreads and improves price discovery. The continuous pricing mechanism means odds update instantly as new trades flow in, allowing participants to enter or exit positions at transparent, market-determined rates throughout the week.

This market resolves around Jul 24, 2026, once the week concludes and Palantir's official closing price is confirmed. The outcome is verified against credible public sources and matched to the corresponding price bracket. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome receive their payout, while incorrect positions expire worthless. Resolution is typically finalized within hours of market close on the settlement date, allowing quick payouts and enabling participants to redeploy capital to subsequent events.

Earnings announcements, product launches, government contract wins or losses, and macroeconomic data releases are key catalysts that could shift trader positioning. Broader market moves—particularly in technology stocks and defense-adjacent sectors—often influence PLTR sentiment. Insider trading disclosures, analyst upgrades or downgrades, and geopolitical developments affecting Palantir's core markets can also trigger rapid repricing. Intraweek volatility, options expiration dynamics, and fund rebalancing may create short-term trading opportunities, while longer-term conviction trades typically respond to fundamental business news.
