This market will resolve according to the official closing price for Opendoor (OPEN) on the final day of trading of the specified week (normally Friday). If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. If the final session of the week is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Yahoo Finance after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Opendoor (OPEN) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/OPEN/history, published under "Historical Prices."

Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect crowd-sourced expectations for Opendoor's closing price during the week of June 8, often incorporating real-time trading activity and participant conviction. Analyst forecasts, by contrast, are typically published by equity research teams and may lag market sentiment or focus on longer-term fundamentals. The prediction market tends to react faster to breaking news, earnings surprises, or macroeconomic shifts, while analyst price targets can remain static between updates. Comparing the two reveals whether the crowd is pricing in more bullish or bearish outcomes than the consensus of professional analysts.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, the Opendoor closing price event is priced through outcome contracts representing different price ranges or specific closing levels for the week of June 8. Each outcome contract trades independently, with its price reflecting the probability that Opendoor will close within that range or at that level. Traders buy contracts they believe are underpriced and sell those they view as overpriced. The market price of each outcome converges toward its true probability as resolution approaches, with volume and liquidity concentrated around the most likely closing scenarios.
The market resolves on Jun 12, 2026, following the close of trading for the week of June 8. Resolution is determined by Opendoor's official closing stock price on the final trading day of that week. The outcome is objective and verifiable through public market data, eliminating ambiguity. Once the closing price is confirmed, the winning outcome contract is paid out in full, and all other contracts expire worthless. Traders should monitor for any corporate actions, halts, or delisting events that could affect the final price.
Key catalysts include Opendoor earnings announcements, guidance revisions, or management commentary on market conditions and home inventory. Broader real estate trends, mortgage rate changes, and housing demand data can shift investor sentiment toward the sector. Macroeconomic news such as inflation reports, Federal Reserve decisions, or recession signals may impact tech-enabled real estate stocks. Competitive announcements from rivals or regulatory developments affecting iBuying models could also influence trading. Short-term technical factors, options expiration dates, and index rebalancing may create price volatility in the final days before resolution.
