This market will resolve according to the official closing price for Opendoor (OPEN) on the final day of trading of the specified week (normally Friday). If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. If the final session of the week is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Yahoo Finance after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Opendoor (OPEN) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/OPEN/history, published under "Historical Prices."

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst price targets because they aggregate real-money bets from thousands of traders rather than relying on a handful of institutional estimates. This market embeds forward-looking sentiment and incorporates breaking news faster than consensus revisions typically update. Analysts may anchor to historical valuations or longer-term models, while traders here respond dynamically to earnings surprises, market conditions, and company-specific catalysts. Comparing the implied probability in this market to published analyst consensus can reveal where the crowd sees asymmetric risk or opportunity relative to Wall Street views.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader orders into real-time probabilities for each price bracket outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders buy or sell shares representing their belief about where OPEN will close, and the cumulative order flow determines the odds displayed on the dashboard. Liquidity and trading volume directly influence price discovery; higher volume typically narrows spreads and increases confidence in the quoted odds. The platform's transparent order book lets participants see depth and adjust their positions accordingly.
This market resolves around Jun 26, 2026, once the closing price for Opendoor during the week of June 22 is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which price bracket OPEN actually closed within on its official settlement date. Resolution occurs automatically after the event window closes and the final price is confirmed through standard financial data providers. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome bracket receive their payout proportional to the final odds.
Opendoor earnings announcements, guidance revisions, or management commentary on real estate market conditions could trigger sharp repricing in this market. Broader market movements—interest rate decisions, housing data releases, or sector rotation—often correlate with real estate technology stocks and may shift trader positioning. Competitive announcements from rivals or regulatory developments affecting the iBuying model could also influence expectations. Short-term volatility near the resolution week itself, driven by technical factors or final positioning, may cause last-minute odds swings as traders lock in their views.
