This market will resolve according to the official closing price for Opendoor (OPEN) on the final day of trading of the specified week (normally Friday). If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. If the final session of the week is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Yahoo Finance after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Opendoor (OPEN) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/OPEN/history, published under "Historical Prices."

Prediction markets and traditional analyst forecasts approach price prediction differently. While equity analysts publish target prices based on fundamental research and models, this market aggregates real-money bets from traders who profit or lose based on accuracy. Prediction market odds often incorporate faster-moving information and reflect genuine skin-in-the-game incentives, though they can diverge from consensus analyst views during periods of uncertainty or when new catalysts emerge unexpectedly.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling shares tied to specific price ranges for OPEN's closing level. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome contract trades independently, and the market price of each reflects the probability traders assign to that range occurring. Liquidity and trading volume concentrate around outcomes deemed most likely, while wider or more extreme price targets typically trade at lower volumes and higher spreads.
This market resolves around Jul 10, 2026, once the closing price for OPEN during the specified week is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which price range the stock closes within on the final trading day of that week. Resolution occurs automatically once the official closing price is confirmed and matched to the corresponding outcome contract.
Several catalysts could shift trader positioning before resolution. Earnings announcements, changes in real estate market conditions, shifts in mortgage rates, and company-specific news about strategy or leadership can all influence OPEN's stock price. Broader market volatility, sector rotation, or macroeconomic data releases may also impact sentiment. Traders monitor these signals continuously, repricing outcomes as new information emerges and conviction levels change.
