This market will resolve according to the Close price for Opendoor Technologies Inc. (OPEN) on the final day of trading of the week specified in the title (normally Friday). If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. Closing prices will be used exactly as published by Pyth, without rounding. For a standard full trading session, the closing price refers to the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle corresponding to the final minute of regular trading hours on the primary exchange. If the relevant session is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle corresponding to the final minute of that shortened session will be used. If the relevant day has no valid Pyth Close value for the 1-minute candle corresponding to the end of regular trading hours on the primary exchange, the market will use the last valid Pyth price achieved during the regular trading hours of the primary exchange as the effective closing price. If no valid Pyth price exists for that trading day due to a system outage, data failure, or other technical disruption, the official closing price published by the primary exchange on which the listed security trades will be used to determine the closing price for that day. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed security during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Pyth. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Pyth after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market will be Pyth, specifically the "Close" values for the relevant 1-minute candle for Opendoor Technologies Inc. (OPEN) available at https://pythdata.app/explore/Equity.US.OPEN%2FUSD.

Prediction market odds reflect real-money bets from traders who profit or lose based on accuracy, creating a direct financial incentive to forecast correctly. Analyst forecasts, by contrast, are often published estimates without the same skin-in-the-game accountability. This market aggregates dispersed trader knowledge into a single probability, which research suggests can outperform individual analyst calls, especially for near-term events like stock price targets. However, both sources are valuable: analysts provide detailed reasoning and fundamental research, while prediction markets distill that information into a live, updating odds snapshot.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that adjusts odds continuously as traders buy and sell shares tied to each outcome bracket. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome contract trades independently, so the price of a contract—ranging from $0 to $1—directly reflects the crowd's probability estimate for that price range. Traders who believe OPEN will close higher buy contracts in the upper brackets, while those expecting a lower close accumulate lower-bracket shares. The spreads between bid and ask prices tighten as volume increases, rewarding active participation.
This market resolves around Jul 24, 2026, once the week of July 20 closes and OPEN's official closing price is confirmed. The outcome is determined by verifying the stock's closing level against credible public financial data sources. Whichever outcome bracket contains the actual closing price is declared correct, and all shares in that bracket pay out at full value while others expire worthless. This straightforward mechanism ensures clarity and removes ambiguity from the settlement process.
Opendoor earnings announcements, guidance revisions, or major company news will likely shift trader positioning significantly. Broader market moves—interest rate decisions, housing data, or real estate sector sentiment—can also influence where traders expect OPEN to land. Insider transactions, analyst upgrades or downgrades, and competitive announcements from rivals in the iBuying space are additional catalysts. Short-term technical factors like options expiry or index rebalancing may create temporary volatility. Tracking these signals helps you anticipate how this market's odds may evolve before the close of the week of July 20.
