Description

This market will resolve according to the Close price for Opendoor Technologies Inc. (OPEN) on the final day of trading of the week specified in the title (normally Friday). If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. Closing prices will be used exactly as published by Pyth, without rounding. For a standard full trading session, the closing price refers to the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle corresponding to the final minute of regular trading hours on the primary exchange. If the relevant session is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle corresponding to the final minute of that shortened session will be used. If the relevant day has no valid Pyth Close value for the 1-minute candle corresponding to the end of regular trading hours on the primary exchange, the market will use the last valid Pyth price achieved during the regular trading hours of the primary exchange as the effective closing price. If no valid Pyth price exists for that trading day due to a system outage, data failure, or other technical disruption, the official closing price published by the primary exchange on which the listed security trades will be used to determine the closing price for that day. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed security during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Pyth. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Pyth after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market will be Pyth, specifically the "Close" values for the relevant 1-minute candle for Opendoor Technologies Inc. (OPEN) available at https://pythdata.app/explore/Equity.US.OPEN%2FUSD.

Frequently asked questions

On Polymarket, the Opendoor stock price market dashboard tracks real-time odds and trading activity for where OPEN will close during the week of July 13–17. The interface displays the current probability of the top outcome alongside historical price movements and volume data, allowing traders to monitor how market sentiment shifts as new information emerges. This market aggregates predictions from all traders on the platform, reflecting collective expectations about Opendoor's closing price at the end of that trading week.

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst price targets because they incorporate real-time trader conviction and incentivize accuracy through financial stakes. While equity analysts publish periodic forecasts based on fundamental research, this market updates continuously as traders react to earnings reports, market conditions, and company developments. The odds reflect a crowd-sourced probability rather than a single institution's view, sometimes capturing emerging sentiment faster than consensus estimates. Comparing the two can reveal where the market is pricing in expectations that differ from published analyst guidance.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader positions into real-time odds. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders buy or sell shares corresponding to different price ranges for OPEN's closing price, and the platform calculates probabilities based on the cumulative order flow. Higher trading volume in a particular outcome typically narrows the spread and increases price stability, while lower volume can result in wider bid-ask gaps. The continuous pricing mechanism ensures that odds adjust instantly as new trades execute.

This market resolves around Jul 17, 2026, once the final closing price for Opendoor stock during the week of July 13–17 is confirmed. The outcome is determined by verifying the official closing price against credible public sources, such as major financial data providers or official exchange records. Traders who correctly predicted the closing price range will receive payouts proportional to their position size. Resolution typically occurs within hours of market close on the final trading day of that week.

Several catalysts could shift odds significantly before resolution. Quarterly earnings announcements, changes in real estate market conditions, or shifts in mortgage rates directly impact Opendoor's business outlook and stock valuation. Broader market movements, sector rotation, or macroeconomic data releases can also influence trader positioning. Company-specific news such as executive changes, strategic partnerships, or regulatory developments may trigger sharp repricing. Intraday volatility and options expiration activity during that week could create additional momentum, so traders should monitor financial news and economic calendars closely.
