The future price of WTI crude oil is a key indicator reflecting global supply-demand dynamics and geopolitical influences. Tracking its value at specific future dates helps stakeholders anticipate economic conditions and make informed decisions regarding energy investments and policy planning.
All markets resolve based on the daily settlement price of the October 2026 WTI crude oil contract on September 4, 2026. Each market has a distinct threshold price; if the settlement price exceeds the respective threshold, the market resolves to Yes, otherwise No. Settlement uses the nearest listed contract month, rolling forward two business days before the current contract's last trading day. Prices are rounded to the nearest two decimal places. If data for the specified date is unavailable, the most recent published data determines the outcome. This structure applies uniformly across all thresholds, ensuring consistent evaluation methodology for each market.
