Geopolitical events, such as conflicts in major oil-producing regions or changes in OPEC+ production policies, are key drivers. Unexpected economic data releases, particularly those related to global demand or inflation, could also cause price swings. Furthermore, major disruptions to oil supply, whether due to natural disasters or infrastructure failures, would likely move this market. Shifts in global energy policy, such as increased adoption of renewable energy sources, could also influence long-term expectations.
