The future price of WTI crude oil is a key indicator reflecting global supply and demand dynamics, influenced by geopolitical events, production levels, and economic forecasts. Tracking its value at specific future dates helps stakeholders anticipate market trends and make informed decisions about energy investments and policies.
All markets resolve based on the daily settlement price of the WTI crude oil September 2026 contract on July 29, 2026. Each market has a specific threshold price, and if the settlement price exceeds that threshold, the market resolves to 'Yes'; otherwise, it resolves to 'No'. Settlement uses the nearest listed contract month, rolling forward to the next contract two business days before the current contract's last trading day. Prices are rounded to the nearest two decimal places. If data is unavailable for the specified date, the most recently published data is used to determine the outcome.
