The future price of WTI crude oil is a key indicator reflecting global energy demand, supply dynamics, and geopolitical factors. Tracking its value on specific dates helps investors, policymakers, and industry stakeholders gauge market sentiment and make informed decisions about energy allocation and strategy.
All markets resolve based on the daily settlement price of the WTI crude oil September 2026 contract on August 13, 2026. Each market has a specific price threshold, and if the settlement price exceeds that threshold, the market resolves to 'Yes'; otherwise, it resolves to 'No'. The settlement price uses the nearest listed contract month, rolling forward to the next contract two business days before the current contract's last trading day. Prices are rounded to the nearest two decimal places. If data is unavailable for the specified date, the most recently available published data is used to determine the outcome.
