PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

All platforms use the same resolution criteria: the winner of the 2026 Ohio gubernatorial election as called by Associated Press, Fox News, and NBC, with official certification as the fallback.Primary resolution logic: Associated Press, Fox News, and NBC (three-source consensus) with official certification as fallback

Core resolution logic:

  • A candidate represents a party only if they are that party's official nominee
  • Independent candidates do not count toward party options regardless of prior affiliations
  • Markets resolve when all three sources (AP, Fox, NBC) agree on a winner, otherwise use official certification

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Three-way race: If a third-party or independent candidate wins but is not listed in the market, the 'Other' market would resolve positively
  • No clear winner: If no candidate achieves majority and the race remains unresolved, markets resolve based on official certification
Timing: After the 2026 Ohio gubernatorial election results are officially certifiedOur PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. Polymarket

This market will resolve according to the winner of the 2026 Ohio gubernatorial election. A candidate shall be considered to represent a party in the event that he or she is the nominee of the party in question. Candidates other than the Democratic or Republican nominee (e.g., Greens, Libertarian, independent) may be added at a later date. Candidates who run as independents will not be encompassed by the “Democrat” or “Republican” options regardless of any affiliation they may have with the party. The resolution source for this market is the Associated Press, Fox News, and NBC. This market will resolve once all three sources call the race for the same candidate. If all three sources haven’t called the race in this state for the same candidate, this market will resolve based on the official certification.
