This market will resolve according to the number of times NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani (@NYCMayor), posts on X between June 2, 12:00 PM ET and June 9, 2026, 12:00 PM ET. For the purposes of this market, only main feed posts, quote posts and reposts will count. Replies will NOT count towards the total - however, replies which are recorded on the main feed will be counted by the tracker. Deleted posts will count as long as they remain available long enough to be captured by the tracker (~5 minutes). The resolution source for this market is the "Post Counter" figure for posts found at https://xtracker.polymarket.com. Individual posts can be viewed by clicking "Export Data". If the tracker does not update correctly in accordance with the rules, X itself may be used as a secondary resolution source.
The market resolves on Jun 9, 2026, after the June 2–9, 2026 observation window closes. Resolution is determined by counting the total number of posts published by the NYC Mayor across all official channels during that seven-day period. The final count is verified against official records to determine which outcome bracket is correct and settles all positions accordingly. Traders should monitor for any clarifications on which platforms or account types are included in the official count.
Several factors could shift market odds before June 2026. Major city events—budget announcements, crises, or public hearings—typically increase mayoral communication volume. Changes in the Mayor's communication strategy or staff turnover could alter posting patterns. Election cycles, legislative deadlines, or high-profile controversies may drive urgency and frequency. Historical posting data released closer to the event window will refine trader expectations. Additionally, shifts in the Mayor's social media priorities or platform focus could influence the final count, making recent communication trends a key leading indicator.
