This set of markets tracks potential future values of hourly compute costs for high-end NVIDIA RTX 5090 graphics processing units. The outcomes depend on real-time pricing data from a specified source at a fixed date and time, reflecting possible shifts in technology demand, supply chain dynamics, and computational resource pricing trends.
All markets resolve based on the NVIDIA RTX 5090 compute per hour value reported by Ornn at 4 PM ET on September 4, 2026. If Ornn does not publish data for that exact time, the most recent available data prior to the expiration will be used. Post-expiration revisions to the underlying data are disregarded. All values are evaluated in USD and rounded to two decimal places. Each market has a specific threshold: if the reported value exceeds the threshold (e.g., $0.15, $0.20, up to $1.50), the respective market resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No.
This market resolves around Sep 4, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. On that date, the actual hourly price of the RTX 5090 will be recorded from authoritative sources, and the market will settle based on that verified figure. Traders should monitor official announcements and reputable tech pricing aggregators as the resolution approaches to ensure they understand how the final price will be determined.
Several signals could shift this market before Sep 4, 2026. Major announcements from NVIDIA regarding production updates, pricing changes, or supply chain improvements may influence trader sentiment. Additionally, broader market trends such as shifts in GPU demand due to new gaming releases or AI software updates could affect expectations. Competitor pricing moves and macroeconomic factors like currency fluctuations or import tariffs may also cause volatility, especially if they impact retail pricing strategies in the weeks leading up to resolution.
