Description

This event group tracks NVIDIA (NVDA) stock price movement during the week of July 13–17, 2026. Limitless offers a binary Up/Down comparison (Jul 10 vs Jul 17 close), while Polymarket provides granular price bracket predictions for the final trading day (Jul 17). Both use Pyth as the authoritative price source.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Divergence Detected

Issue: Limitless measures relative price change (week-over-week comparison with Jul 10 baseline of $210.965), while Polymarket resolves on absolute closing price brackets for Jul 17. These are fundamentally different settlement values and cannot be cross-validated.Hero tip: Treat these as separate markets with independent resolution paths. Limitless Up does not guarantee any specific Polymarket bracket will resolve YES. Always confirm the Jul 10 opening baseline and Jul 17 closing price from Pyth independently.

Critical divergence points:

  • Limitless: Binary Up/Down based on week-over-week comparison. Resolves UP if Jul 17 Pyth close > Jul 10 Pyth close ($210.965). Resolves DOWN if Jul 17 close <= $210.965 or no trade occurs on Jul 17. Key quote: 'This market will resolve to Up if the price for NVIDIA (Pyth NVDA/USD) on July 17, 2026 is strictly higher than the price for NVIDIA (Pyth NVDA/USD) on July 10, 2026. Otherwise, this market will resolve to Down.'
  • Polymarket: Absolute price bracket resolution for Jul 17 close only. Resolves YES/NO for each bracket (<$190, $190–$195, $195–$200, ... >$235) based on exact Pyth Close value. If price falls between brackets, resolves to higher bracket. Key quote: 'Closing prices will be used exactly as published by Pyth, without rounding. If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket.'
Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Polymarket

This market will resolve according to the Close price for NVIDIA (NVDA) on the final day of trading of the week specified in the title (normally Friday). If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. Closing prices will be used exactly as published by Pyth, without rounding. For a standard full trading session, the closing price refers to the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle corresponding to the final minute of regular trading hours on the primary exchange. If the relevant session is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle corresponding to the final minute of that shortened session will be used. If the relevant day has no valid Pyth Close value for the 1-minute candle corresponding to the end of regular trading hours on the primary exchange, the market will use the last valid Pyth price achieved during the regular trading hours of the primary exchange as the effective closing price. If no valid Pyth price exists for that trading day due to a system outage, data failure, or other technical disruption, the official closing price published by the primary exchange on which the listed security trades will be used to determine the closing price for that day. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed security during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Pyth. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Pyth after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market will be Pyth, specifically the "Close" values for the relevant 1-minute candle for NVIDIA (NVDA) available at https://pythdata.app/explore/Equity.US.NVDA%2FUSD.

Limitless

This market will resolve to "Up" if the price for NVIDIA (Pyth NVDA/USD) on July 17, 2026 is strictly higher than the price for NVIDIA (Pyth NVDA/USD) on July 10, 2026. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The price for NVIDIA (Pyth NVDA/USD) captured on July 10, 2026 was $210.96500. Resolution source: Pyth NVDA/USD price feed. Other exchanges, spot markets, and oracles will not be used. For example, a weekly Friday market would ordinarily compare that Friday's price with the previous Friday's price, unless that previous Friday was a market holiday. In that case, it would compare against Thursday's price, or the next most recent trading day. If NVIDIA (NVDA) does not trade at all during the regular session on July 17, 2026, this market will resolve to "Down". For a standard full trading session, the price for that trading day refers to the Pyth price at the end of regular trading hours on the primary exchange. If either relevant trading day has no valid Pyth price at the end of regular trading hours on the primary exchange, the last valid Pyth price published during that day's regular trading hours will be used as the effective price for that day. If no valid Pyth price exists for that trading day due to a system outage, data failure, or other technical disruption, the official price published by the primary exchange on which NVDA is listed will be used to determine the price for that day. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting NVDA during the relevant time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Pyth.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction markets like this one often diverge from traditional Wall Street analyst price targets because they aggregate real-money bets from thousands of traders rather than relying on a handful of institutional estimates. Analysts publish quarterly or event-driven forecasts; this market updates continuously as new information emerges. Traders here face direct financial consequences for accuracy, which can sharpen price discovery. However, analyst consensus may incorporate proprietary research and long-term guidance that individual traders lack. Comparing the two reveals whether the market is pricing in more optimism or caution than the analyst community on NVIDIA's near-term trajectory.

Earnings surprises, product announcements, semiconductor supply chain updates, and shifts in AI demand forecasts are major catalysts for NVIDIA price swings. Broader market moves—interest rate decisions, tech sector rotation, or macroeconomic data—can also reshape trader sentiment. Competitive developments from AMD, Intel, or custom chip makers may influence the outlook. Geopolitical tensions affecting chip exports or manufacturing capacity could trigger volatility. Short-term technical levels, options expiration, and index rebalancing can create intraweek momentum. Monitor financial news, earnings calendars, and sector commentary closely to anticipate how this market may reprice before settlement.
