Description

This market will resolve to "Yes" if the official closing price for NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA) on June 30 is higher than the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If the final session is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Yahoo Finance after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/NVDA/history, published under "Historical Prices."

Frequently asked questions

The NVIDIA stock price market dashboard on Polymarket tracks real-time odds and historical price movements for whether NVIDIA's closing stock price will exceed a specific threshold on June 30. The interface displays current implied probability, 24-hour volume activity, and order book depth, allowing traders to monitor sentiment shifts as the event date approaches. This market reflects collective trader expectations about NVIDIA's near-term performance, aggregating thousands of individual predictions into a single, continuously updated probability estimate.

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst price targets because they incorporate real-money incentives and live market dynamics rather than periodic research updates. While Wall Street analysts publish quarterly forecasts based on fundamental analysis, this market prices in intraday sentiment, earnings surprises, and macroeconomic shifts as they occur. Traders betting real capital tend to react faster to breaking news than consensus estimates, sometimes leading prediction markets to signal directional conviction ahead of formal analyst revisions.

On Polymarket, traders set the odds through an automated market maker mechanism where buying YES shares drives the price upward and selling drives it downward. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each share represents a binary claim: YES if NVIDIA closes above the threshold, NO if it closes at or below. The current market price directly reflects the probability traders assign to the outcome, with liquidity pools ensuring continuous pricing even during volatile periods.

This market resolves around Jun 30, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once NVIDIA's official closing price for that date is verifiable from credible public sources. Traders holding YES shares receive full payout if the stock closes above the specified level; NO holders are paid if it closes at or below. The resolution is objective and final, based on publicly available market data rather than subjective interpretation.

Quarterly earnings reports, product announcements, AI industry developments, and broader semiconductor sector trends are primary catalysts that could shift odds significantly. Macroeconomic data—interest rate decisions, inflation reports, and tech sector rotation—also influence trader positioning. Geopolitical events affecting chip supply chains, competitive threats from other AI chipmakers, and changes to NVIDIA's forward guidance can trigger rapid repricing as new information becomes available.
