Currently, the odds on Polymarket for the winner of the NH-02 Democratic primary offer a different perspective than traditional polling data. Polling averages often reflect stated preferences, while this market reflects what participants believe is *most likely* to happen, incorporating a wider range of factors and potentially accounting for strategic voting or unforeseen events. The market can act as an information aggregator, distilling diverse opinions into a single, quantifiable probability. It's important to remember that polls and prediction markets measure different things and can diverge, especially as new information emerges closer to the primary election.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where participants buy and sell shares representing their belief in each candidate's probability of winning the NH-02 Democratic primary. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome. Higher demand for shares in a particular candidate drives up the price, increasing their implied probability, and vice-versa. The current volume of $5,504 and 24-hour volume of $206 indicate the level of interest and trading activity in this market.
This market resolves around Sep 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the winner of the NH-02 Democratic primary is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official results announced by election authorities. The market will then determine the payout to those who correctly predicted the winner. Traders should monitor news sources and official election results as the primary approaches to understand the likely resolution timeline and outcome of this market.
Several factors could significantly impact this market before Sep 8, 2026. Major endorsements from influential figures, significant fundraising announcements, or unexpected events during campaign rallies could all shift the perceived likelihood of each candidate winning the NH-02 Democratic primary. Changes in polling data, especially if they indicate a clear shift in voter preferences, will also likely influence trading activity. Additionally, any debates or public forums where candidates perform exceptionally well or poorly could lead to substantial movements in the market.
