This market will resolve according to the official closing price for Netflix (NFLX) on the final day of trading of the specified week (normally Friday). If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. If the final session of the week is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Yahoo Finance after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Netflix (NFLX) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/NFLX/history, published under "Historical Prices."

Prediction market odds on Polymarket often diverge from consensus analyst price targets because markets price in real-time sentiment and tail risks that traditional equity research may lag. While Wall Street analysts publish quarterly price targets based on fundamental models, prediction market traders react instantly to earnings surprises, subscriber growth data, and competitive threats. The market-implied probability of each NFLX closing price range reflects aggregated trader conviction rather than a single analyst's view. Comparing the two reveals whether the crowd expects NFLX to outperform or underperform the median Street estimate for that specific week.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, NFLX's weekly close price is priced as a set of discrete outcome brackets, each representing a specific price range. Traders buy and sell shares of each outcome, and the price of a share reflects the market's implied probability that NFLX will close within that range during the week ending June 12. Liquidity and trading volume concentrate around outcomes deemed most likely by the crowd. As new information emerges—earnings beats, subscriber trends, or broader tech sector moves—traders adjust positions, shifting prices and probabilities across all outcomes in real time.
The market resolves on Jun 12, 2026, after the close of trading on the final day of the week of June 8. Resolution is determined by Netflix's official closing stock price on that date. The outcome bracket that contains the actual closing price is declared correct, and traders holding shares of that outcome receive their payout. All other outcomes resolve to zero. The resolution uses verified price data from major financial data providers to ensure accuracy and prevent disputes.
Key catalysts include Netflix earnings announcements, subscriber growth or churn data, and guidance revisions that could shift the stock significantly during that week. Competitive pressures from Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, and other streamers, as well as content performance metrics, influence investor sentiment. Broader tech sector volatility, interest rate expectations, and macroeconomic conditions also impact NFLX. Management commentary on pricing power, password-sharing monetization, and advertising revenue growth can trigger sharp moves. Any major M&A rumors, executive changes, or regulatory developments affecting the streaming industry could reshape trader positioning and move probabilities across all price brackets.
