This market will resolve according to the official closing price for Netflix (NFLX) on the final day of trading of the specified week (normally Friday). If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. If the final session of the week is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Yahoo Finance after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Netflix (NFLX) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/NFLX/history, published under "Historical Prices."

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst price targets because they reflect real-money incentives and crowd wisdom rather than institutional research alone. While Wall Street analysts publish quarterly earnings estimates and 12-month price targets, this market distills near-term sentiment into a single weekly outcome. Traders betting on Netflix's closing price incorporate breaking news, earnings surprises, and sentiment shifts faster than consensus revisions typically update. Comparing the leading outcome odds here to published analyst views can reveal whether the crowd is more bullish, bearish, or aligned with the Street's consensus on NFLX for that week.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling shares tied to each price bracket outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The platform uses an automated market maker (AMM) model, meaning odds shift based on order flow and the ratio of shares held in each outcome pool. As more capital flows into a particular price range, that outcome's odds rise and others fall. This continuous repricing mechanism ensures the market remains liquid and responsive to new information about Netflix's stock trajectory.
This market resolves around Jul 3, 2026, once Netflix's closing price for the week of June 29 is finalized and verifiable from credible public sources. The winning outcome is determined by which price bracket NFLX closes within on the last trading day of that week. Resolution is straightforward and objective, tied to official market data rather than subjective interpretation. Traders holding shares in the correct bracket receive their payout once the closing price is confirmed and the market settles.
Netflix earnings announcements, subscriber growth reports, and streaming industry news are primary catalysts that could shift odds significantly. Competitive pressures from Disney+, Amazon Prime, and other platforms, along with changes in advertising revenue or password-sharing policies, often trigger repricing. Broader market movements—interest rate decisions, tech sector rallies or selloffs, and macroeconomic data—also influence NFLX trading. Insider transactions, analyst upgrades or downgrades, and regulatory developments around content or data privacy can move sentiment. Any major content wins or losses, password-sharing enforcement updates, or management commentary during earnings calls typically generate sharp volatility in this market.
