This event tracks the price of natural gas on a specific date and time, measuring whether the closing price of the 1-minute candlestick at 5:00 PM EDT on July 21, 2026 exceeds various price thresholds ranging from $2.850 to $3.145 per MMBtu using the NGDQ6 contract.

Kalshi

Settlement is based on the nearest listed contract month for natural gas, rolling forward to the next contract 5 business days before the current contract's last trading day. The settlement contract is named after its delivery month per standard exchange symbology. The closing price of the 1-minute candlestick at 5:00 PM EDT on July 21, 2026 is used for settlement, where the candlestick timestamped at that time reflects trading during the immediately preceding one-minute interval. The settlement value is rounded to the nearest 3 decimal places. If no data is published by the specified source agency for the specified time, the most recently available published data will be used. Each rule establishes a distinct price threshold in $0.005 increments, with resolution to Yes if the close price exceeds the specified threshold.
