This event tracks the closing value of the Nasdaq-100 index on July 17, 2026 at 4pm EDT. The Nasdaq-100 is a stock market index composed of the 100 largest non-financial companies listed on the Nasdaq exchange, widely used as a benchmark for technology and growth-oriented equities. Resolution depends on the official end-of-day index value reported by the exchange.
The market resolves based on the end-of-day Nasdaq-100 index value on July 17, 2026. Each outcome corresponds to a specific price threshold, with resolution occurring if the index closes above that threshold. For example, one outcome resolves Yes if the index closes above 27,499.99, another if it closes above 27,509.99, and so forth, with thresholds incrementing by 10 points across the range from 27,500 to 31,490. The market closes on July 17, 2026 and expires at the sooner of the first data release or one week after that date. Per Kalshi's rulebook, the source agency and underlying for indices markets have been modified.
