This market will resolve to "Yes" if MicroStrategy announces a purchase of more Bitcoin than the number specified in the title between the dates in the title (from 12:00 AM ET on the first date to 11:59 PM ET on the last date). Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". This market will resolve based on announcements made within the market's designated time frame regardless of when the actual purchases were made. The resolution source for this market will be official information from MicroStrategy or Michael Saylor. For reference, MicroStrategy's reported BTC holdings can be tracked at: https://www.strategy.com/purchases
Prediction market odds reflect traders' collective assessment of the likelihood of a >1000 BTC announcement in that specific week, independent of Bitcoin's spot price. While spot price expectations focus on BTC/USD valuation, this market prices the probability of a discrete corporate action. Analysts and market watchers may estimate MicroStrategy's capital allocation plans differently; prediction markets aggregate those views into a single probability, offering a complementary signal to traditional equity or crypto price forecasts.
The market resolves on Jun 9, 2026, after the June 2–8 window closes. Resolution hinges on whether MicroStrategy issues an official announcement—via press release, SEC filing, earnings call, or other public statement—confirming a Bitcoin purchase exceeding 1000 BTC during that specific week. The announcement must be verifiable through credible public sources and explicitly state the quantity purchased and timing to qualify for YES resolution.
Key catalysts include MicroStrategy earnings calls or investor presentations scheduled during or before June 2–8, where management might announce major capital deployment. SEC filings or Form 8-K disclosures revealing large asset purchases would be direct signals. Broader Bitcoin market rallies or crashes could influence the company's acquisition timing and size. Statements from CEO Michael Saylor on social media or in interviews about treasury strategy, macroeconomic conditions affecting corporate cash reserves, and competitor actions in the Bitcoin space could all shift trader expectations.
