This market will resolve to "Yes" if the official closing price for Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) on June 15 is higher than the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If the final session is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Yahoo Finance after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/MSFT/history, published under "Historical Prices."

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst price targets because they reflect real-money incentives and continuous updating rather than periodic research reports. While equity analysts publish target prices based on fundamental analysis, this market aggregates the beliefs of traders who profit or lose based on the actual outcome. Both sources offer value: analysts provide detailed reasoning and long-term context, while prediction markets capture dynamic, up-to-the-minute sentiment and incorporate breaking news faster than formal forecasts typically update.
On Polymarket, traders buy and sell shares representing "Yes" or "No" outcomes, with the share price directly reflecting the implied probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market price adjusts continuously as new trades occur, so the odds you see reflect the most recent consensus among active participants. Higher trading volume typically narrows spreads and increases price stability, while lower liquidity can widen the gap between bid and ask prices, affecting how easily you can enter or exit a position.
This market resolves around Jun 15, 2026, once the trading window closes and the event outcome becomes verifiable. The result is confirmed against credible public sources to determine whether Microsoft's stock closed above the specified price level on that date. Resolution typically occurs within hours or a few days after the market end time, allowing traders to see final payouts reflected in their accounts once verification is complete.
Major catalysts include Microsoft earnings reports, changes in interest rates or tech sector sentiment, macroeconomic data releases, and company-specific announcements regarding products, partnerships, or leadership. Broader market movements—such as shifts in the S&P 500 or Nasdaq—often influence MSFT alongside sector rotation trends. Geopolitical developments, regulatory news, and competitive pressures from rivals can also shift trader expectations. Real-time news flow and options market activity may signal institutional positioning that ripples into this prediction market.
