This market will resolve according to the official closing price for Micron (MU) on the final day of trading of the specified week (normally Friday). If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. If the final session of the week is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Yahoo Finance after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Micron (MU) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/MU/history, published under "Historical Prices."

On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, the Micron closing price event is structured as a set of discrete outcome brackets, each with its own contract. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in which price range MU will close within during the specified week. The price of each outcome contract reflects the collective probability assigned by the market; higher prices indicate stronger conviction that outcome will occur. Polymarket's automated market maker mechanism ensures continuous liquidity and transparent pricing throughout the event window.
The market resolves at Jun 12, 2026, after the close of trading on the final day of the specified week. Resolution is determined by Micron's official closing stock price on that date, sourced from verified financial data. The outcome bracket containing that closing price is declared correct, and traders holding winning shares receive their payout. All other outcome brackets resolve to zero value.
Key catalysts for MU price movement include quarterly earnings announcements, semiconductor industry production data, memory chip demand signals, and geopolitical trade policy developments affecting chip manufacturing. Broader market shifts in technology stocks, interest rate expectations, and macroeconomic growth forecasts will influence semiconductor valuations. Competitor announcements from Samsung or SK Hynix, supply chain updates, and customer guidance revisions can trigger sharp repricing. Real-time news flow and options market activity often precede and amplify stock price moves, making the prediction market sensitive to breaking developments through the week of June 8.
