This market will resolve according to the official closing price for Micron (MU) on the final day of trading of the specified week (normally Friday). If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. If the final session of the week is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Yahoo Finance after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Micron (MU) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/MU/history, published under "Historical Prices."

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst price targets because they aggregate real-money bets rather than opinions. Traders in this market are financially incentivized to forecast accurately, which can surface information faster than consensus estimates. Analyst forecasts tend to update less frequently and may lag market sentiment. Comparing the implied probabilities here to published research on Micron's near-term catalysts—earnings, guidance, or sector trends—can reveal where the crowd sees edge or disagreement with Wall Street consensus.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each price outcome range has its own contract, and the cost to buy a share reflects the market's current belief in that outcome's probability. Liquidity and order flow determine how quickly prices move; deeper liquidity means tighter spreads and faster execution. The final price at any moment represents the marginal trader's valuation, aggregating all available information about where MU will close that week.
This market resolves around Jun 19, 2026, once the closing price for Micron on the specified date is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by where MU actually closes on that date, matched against the price ranges defined in the market. Resolution is typically confirmed within hours of market close, and payouts are distributed to holders of the winning outcome share.
Earnings announcements, guidance revisions, and semiconductor industry news are key catalysts that could shift trader positioning. Macroeconomic data—inflation reports, Fed policy signals, or tech sector rotation—often impacts memory chip demand and Micron's stock. Competitive announcements from rivals, supply chain updates, or geopolitical developments affecting chip manufacturing can also trigger repricing. Intraweek momentum and options expiry flows may create volatility, while broader market selloffs or rallies in tech could move this market alongside sector peers.
