Description

This market will resolve to "Up" if the Close price for Meta (Pyth META/USD) on June 29, 2026, is strictly higher than the Close price for Meta (Pyth META/USD) on the most recent prior trading day. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The Close price for Meta (Pyth META/USD) captured on June 26, 2026, was $550.15000. Resolution source: Pyth META/USD price feed. Other exchanges, spot markets, and oracles will not be used. For example, a Monday market would ordinarily compare Monday's Close price with the previous Friday's Close price, unless that Friday was a market holiday. In that case, it would compare against Thursday's Close price, or the next most recent trading day. If Meta (META) does not trade at all during the regular session on June 29, 2026, this market will resolve to "Down". For a standard full trading session, the Close price refers to the "Close" value of the 1-minute Pyth candle corresponding to the final minute of regular trading hours on the primary exchange. If either relevant trading day has no valid Pyth Close value for the 1-minute candle corresponding to the end of regular trading hours on the primary exchange, the last valid Pyth price during that day's regular trading hours will be used as the effective Close price. If no valid Pyth price exists for that trading day due to a system outage, data failure, or other technical disruption, the official closing price published by the primary exchange on which META is listed will be used to determine the Close price for that day. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting META during the relevant time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Pyth.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds reflect real-time trader conviction and often diverge from traditional analyst price targets, which are typically longer-term and revised infrequently. While Wall Street analysts focus on quarterly earnings and annual outlooks, this market captures daily sentiment and short-term momentum. Traders here respond instantly to earnings surprises, regulatory news, and macroeconomic shifts, sometimes moving odds faster than analyst consensus updates. Comparing the two reveals whether the market is pricing in near-term catalysts that analysts haven't yet incorporated into their forecasts.

On Limitless, this market is priced through continuous order-book matching, where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current odds reflect the latest bid-ask spread; as new trades execute, prices adjust in real time. Traders profit by correctly predicting whether Meta closes higher or lower than the previous day's close. The platform's automated market maker and peer-to-peer matching ensure transparent pricing tied directly to trader demand for each outcome.

This market resolves around Jun 29, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once Meta's daily closing price is verifiable from credible public sources. The resolution hinges on a straightforward comparison: if Meta's stock closes above the prior day's close, the Up outcome wins; if it closes below, Down wins. No ambiguity exists in the underlying data, making this a clean binary event. Traders have until market close on the resolution date to adjust their positions before the final outcome is locked in.

Earnings announcements, regulatory filings, and macroeconomic data releases are primary catalysts for daily swings in Meta's stock. Broader tech sector momentum, changes in advertising demand, and shifts in AI investment sentiment can also drive intraday moves. Geopolitical events, interest rate expectations, and competitor news ripple through the sector quickly. Social media sentiment and insider trading disclosures occasionally spark sharp reversals. Even routine index rebalancing or options expiration can influence daily direction, making this market sensitive to both company-specific and market-wide signals.
