This market will resolve according to the official closing price for Meta (META) on the final day of trading of the specified week (normally Friday). If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. If the final session of the week is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Yahoo Finance after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Meta (META) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/META/history, published under "Historical Prices."

Prediction market odds on Polymarket often diverge from traditional Wall Street analyst price targets and consensus estimates. While analysts publish formal forecasts based on fundamental models and company guidance, prediction markets aggregate real-time beliefs from thousands of traders with financial incentives to be accurate. The market odds may lead or lag analyst revisions depending on information flow and trader conviction. Comparing the two reveals whether professional consensus and crowd wisdom align on Meta's expected closing price for that week, or whether traders are pricing in different risk scenarios than the analyst community.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, the Meta closing-price event is priced as a set of discrete outcome brackets, each with its own contract and implied probability. Traders buy or sell shares in specific price ranges, and the cost of each share reflects the market's belief in that outcome occurring by Jun 12, 2026. Liquidity and trading volume concentrate around the most probable ranges. As new information surfaces—earnings surprises, product announcements, or broader market moves—traders adjust their positions, causing prices to shift and the probability distribution to rebalance in real time.
The market resolves on Jun 12, 2026, after Meta's closing price is recorded for the final trading day of the week of June 8. The outcome is determined by the official closing price reported by major financial data providers for that date. Whichever outcome bracket contains the actual closing price will be deemed correct, and traders holding shares in that bracket receive their payout. All other outcome brackets expire worthless. Resolution is automatic once the closing price is finalized and verified.
Key catalysts include Meta's earnings announcements, changes in advertising demand, regulatory developments, and shifts in AI investment sentiment. Broader market events—Federal Reserve policy decisions, tech sector rotation, or macroeconomic data—can also drive Meta's stock price. Product launches, executive commentary, and user-growth metrics influence trader expectations. Competitive pressures from other tech giants and changes in Meta's capital allocation or dividend policy may trigger repricing. Geopolitical tensions or data-privacy regulations affecting ad targeting could impact the stock. Traders monitor all these signals to adjust their positions ahead of the week-of-June-8 close.
