This market will resolve according to the official closing price for Meta (META) on the final day of trading of the specified week (normally Friday). If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. If the final session of the week is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Yahoo Finance after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Meta (META) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/META/history, published under "Historical Prices."
Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect real-money consensus from traders and often diverge from traditional equity analyst price targets. While Wall Street analysts publish discrete 12-month price forecasts based on earnings models and sector research, prediction markets aggregate live trading signals and incorporate breaking news faster. For Meta's June 1 close, the market odds reveal what traders actually believe will occur, whereas analyst consensus may lag or reflect different time horizons. Comparing the two approaches helps identify whether professional forecasters and prediction market participants agree on Meta's near-term direction.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, this contract is priced through an automated market maker or order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares corresponding to specific Meta closing price ranges. Each outcome bucket has its own implied probability, derived from the ratio of shares traded and current liquidity. The top outcome currently reflects market conviction about the most likely closing price band. Prices update continuously as new trades execute, and the spread between bid and ask reflects market depth and uncertainty around Meta's June close.
The market resolves on Jun 5, 2026, after the close of trading on the final day of the week of June 1, 2026. Resolution is determined by Meta's official closing price on that date, sourced from verified financial data. The outcome bucket that contains the actual closing price will be marked correct, and all shares in that outcome will be redeemed at full value. Traders holding shares in other price ranges will receive no payout. This mechanism ensures the market settles based on objective, publicly available market data.
Meta's stock price during the week of June 1 could be influenced by quarterly earnings announcements, advertiser spending trends, regulatory developments affecting digital advertising, artificial intelligence product launches, and macroeconomic shifts in tech valuations. Competitive pressures from other social platforms, changes in user engagement metrics, and management commentary on capital allocation also drive trader positioning. Geopolitical events affecting global ad markets and shifts in investor sentiment toward mega-cap tech stocks could create volatility. Traders monitor these catalysts closely and adjust their positions as new information emerges, causing odds to shift on Polymarket.
