This market will resolve according to the official closing price for Meta (META) on the final day of trading of the specified week (normally Friday). If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. If the final session of the week is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Yahoo Finance after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Meta (META) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/META/history, published under "Historical Prices."

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst price targets because they reflect real-money incentives and live market dynamics rather than periodic research updates. While Wall Street analysts publish quarterly or event-driven forecasts, this market continuously reprices based on breaking news, earnings surprises, and macroeconomic shifts. Traders with skin in the game tend to react faster to new information, sometimes leading prediction odds to move ahead of formal analyst revisions. Comparing the two reveals whether the crowd is more bullish or bearish than the consensus.
On Polymarket, traders set the odds by buying and selling shares that represent different closing price ranges for Meta stock. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each share costs between $0 and $1, and the current market price reflects the implied probability of that outcome. As new information emerges or sentiment shifts, traders adjust their positions, moving the price up or down. The more capital flowing into a particular outcome, the higher its price climbs, creating a continuous, transparent price discovery mechanism.
This market resolves around Jul 10, 2026, once Meta's closing stock price for the specified week is finalized and verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the official closing price reported by major financial data providers on the resolution date. No ambiguity exists in the underlying metric—stock prices are objective and publicly recorded—making this a straightforward event to settle. Traders should monitor the exact closing price on the designated date to confirm the winning outcome.
Meta's stock price can shift sharply on earnings announcements, user growth surprises, advertising revenue trends, or regulatory news affecting the tech sector. Macroeconomic data—inflation reports, interest rate decisions, or recession signals—often ripple through large-cap tech stocks. Competitive pressures from rivals, changes in Meta's AI strategy, or major product launches can also trigger repricing. Broader market volatility, sector rotation, or geopolitical events may influence trader sentiment. Any unexpected corporate action or management commentary in the days leading up to the close could sway this market's final odds.
