This market will resolve to "Yes" if the Close price for Meta Platforms, Inc. (META) on July 8, 2026 is higher than the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If the two specified prices are exactly equal, this market will resolve to "No". Closing prices will be used exactly as published by Pyth, without rounding. If Meta Platforms, Inc. (META) does not trade at all during the regular session, the market will resolve 50-50. For a standard full trading session, the closing price refers to the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle corresponding to the final minute of regular trading hours on the primary exchange. If the specified day has no valid Pyth Close value for the 1-minute candle corresponding to the end of regular trading hours on the primary exchange, the market will use the last valid Pyth price achieved during the regular trading hours of the primary exchange as the effective closing price. If no valid Pyth price exists for that trading day due to a system outage, data failure, or other technical disruption, the official closing price published by the primary exchange on which the listed security trades will be used to determine the closing price for that day. If the listed date is not a trading day under the applicable trading-hours schedule as listed on Pyth, this market will resolve 50-50. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed security during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Pyth. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Pyth after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market will be Pyth, specifically the "Close" values for the relevant 1-minute candle available at https://pythdata.app/explore/Equity.US.META%2FUSD.

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst price targets because they aggregate real-money bets rather than relying on a single research team's model. While Wall Street analysts publish quarterly earnings estimates and 12-month price targets, this market captures live trader conviction about a specific closing price on a fixed date. Analysts may issue broad guidance; prediction markets distill that into a precise binary outcome, making them useful as a cross-check against consensus forecasts rather than a replacement for fundamental research.
On Polymarket, traders set the odds by buying and selling shares that pay out if Meta closes above the threshold on July 8. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market price—displayed as a percentage between 0 and 100—reflects the current balance of buy and sell orders. As new information emerges or sentiment shifts, traders adjust their positions, moving the odds up or down in real time. This continuous price discovery mechanism means the odds you see today may differ significantly from those available tomorrow.
This market resolves around Jul 8, 2026, once Meta's official closing price for that date is confirmed. The outcome is determined by whether the stock closes above or below the specified price level, verified against credible public financial data. Traders holding winning shares receive their payout shortly after resolution is finalized. Until that moment, positions remain open and odds may continue to shift based on new developments or market sentiment.
Meta's stock price is sensitive to earnings announcements, regulatory news, advertising market trends, and broader tech sector momentum. Major catalysts include quarterly earnings reports, changes in ad targeting policies, artificial intelligence product launches, and macroeconomic shifts affecting digital advertising spend. Geopolitical events, competitor actions, and shifts in user engagement metrics can also drive volatility. Traders monitoring this market typically watch Meta's earnings calendar, SEC filings, and real-time news to anticipate price swings before July 8.
