This market will resolve to "Yes" if the Close price for Meta Platforms, Inc. (META) on July 20, 2026 is higher than the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If the two specified prices are exactly equal, this market will resolve to "No". Closing prices will be used exactly as published by Pyth, without rounding. If Meta Platforms, Inc. (META) does not trade at all during the regular session, the market will resolve 50-50. For a standard full trading session, the closing price refers to the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle corresponding to the final minute of regular trading hours on the primary exchange. If the specified day has no valid Pyth Close value for the 1-minute candle corresponding to the end of regular trading hours on the primary exchange, the market will use the last valid Pyth price achieved during the regular trading hours of the primary exchange as the effective closing price. If no valid Pyth price exists for that trading day due to a system outage, data failure, or other technical disruption, the official closing price published by the primary exchange on which the listed security trades will be used to determine the closing price for that day. If the listed date is not a trading day under the applicable trading-hours schedule as listed on Pyth, this market will resolve 50-50. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed security during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Pyth. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Pyth after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market will be Pyth, specifically the "Close" values for the relevant 1-minute candle available at https://pythdata.app/explore/Equity.US.META%2FUSD.

Prediction market odds reflect real-time trader sentiment and often diverge from traditional analyst price targets. While Wall Street analysts publish quarterly earnings forecasts and 12-month price projections, this market distills collective expectations into a single binary outcome for a specific date. Traders on Polymarket incorporate recent earnings reports, macroeconomic shifts, and company-specific catalysts into their positions, sometimes moving odds faster than analyst consensus updates. Comparing the market's implied probability to published analyst sentiment can reveal whether traders are pricing in more bullish or bearish near-term momentum than the broader investment community expects.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader buy and sell orders into real-time probabilities. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome share reflects the aggregate capital deployed on either side, with higher trading volume typically narrowing the spread between bid and ask prices. As traders place orders, the odds shift dynamically to balance supply and demand. This continuous pricing mechanism ensures that the market probability remains responsive to new information and trader conviction throughout the event window.
This market resolves around Jul 20, 2026, once Meta's closing stock price for that trading day is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by whether the final closing price exceeds the specified threshold. Resolution typically occurs within hours of market close, after official price data is published and confirmed. Traders should monitor Meta's earnings announcements, broader market conditions, and any corporate actions in the weeks leading up to the event, as these factors will directly influence the stock's final position relative to the target level.
Key catalysts for this market include Meta's quarterly earnings reports, management guidance on advertising revenue and user growth, regulatory developments affecting social media platforms, and shifts in tech sector sentiment. Macroeconomic data—particularly inflation reports and Federal Reserve policy signals—can also drive broad market movements affecting Meta's stock. Competitive pressures from other tech giants, changes in Meta's AI investment strategy, and unexpected leadership announcements may trigger sharp repricing. Additionally, broader market volatility or sector rotations between growth and value stocks could influence trader positioning in the final days before resolution.
