Description

This market will resolve to "Yes" if the Close price for Meta Platforms, Inc. (META) on July 13, 2026 is higher than the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If the two specified prices are exactly equal, this market will resolve to "No". Closing prices will be used exactly as published by Pyth, without rounding. If Meta Platforms, Inc. (META) does not trade at all during the regular session, the market will resolve 50-50. For a standard full trading session, the closing price refers to the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle corresponding to the final minute of regular trading hours on the primary exchange. If the specified day has no valid Pyth Close value for the 1-minute candle corresponding to the end of regular trading hours on the primary exchange, the market will use the last valid Pyth price achieved during the regular trading hours of the primary exchange as the effective closing price. If no valid Pyth price exists for that trading day due to a system outage, data failure, or other technical disruption, the official closing price published by the primary exchange on which the listed security trades will be used to determine the closing price for that day. If the listed date is not a trading day under the applicable trading-hours schedule as listed on Pyth, this market will resolve 50-50. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed security during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Pyth. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Pyth after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market will be Pyth, specifically the "Close" values for the relevant 1-minute candle available at https://pythdata.app/explore/Equity.US.META%2FUSD.

Frequently asked questions

The Meta stock price market dashboard on Polymarket tracks real-time odds and trading activity for whether Meta's stock will close above a specified price level on July 13. The interface displays current market probability, historical price movements, and 24-hour volume to help traders monitor sentiment and liquidity. This dashboard consolidates order flow and contract pricing in one view, making it easy to follow how the market reprices as new information emerges. Traders use these metrics to gauge confidence in Meta's near-term performance and to time their positions ahead of the resolution date.

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst price targets because they reflect real-money incentives and live trader conviction rather than periodic research updates. While Wall Street analysts publish quarterly or event-driven forecasts, this market prices Meta's stock continuously as new data arrives. Traders betting on the outcome face direct financial consequences, which can make prediction markets more responsive to breaking news, earnings surprises, or regulatory developments. Comparing the two reveals whether the market is pricing in risks or opportunities that analysts may have overlooked or underweighted in their published guidance.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that adjusts odds based on the volume and direction of incoming trades. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The contract price represents the probability that Meta will close above the threshold on the specified date, ranging from 0 to 1 (or 0% to 100%). Traders buy or sell shares to express their view, and the cumulative order flow determines the current odds displayed on the dashboard. This mechanism ensures continuous pricing and allows participants to enter or exit positions at transparent, market-driven rates throughout the trading window.

This market resolves around Jul 13, 2026, once Meta's closing stock price for that date is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by whether the final price exceeds the specified threshold. Traders holding winning positions receive their payout automatically, while losing positions expire worthless. The resolution process is straightforward and objective, anchored to publicly available market data that cannot be disputed or manipulated.

Meta's stock price can shift based on earnings reports, user growth metrics, advertising revenue trends, regulatory announcements, or macroeconomic conditions affecting tech valuations. Major product launches, leadership changes, or competitive pressures from rivals may also influence trader sentiment. Broader market movements, interest rate decisions, and shifts in investor risk appetite can move the entire technology sector, pulling Meta along with it. Traders monitor these catalysts closely and adjust positions as new information emerges, causing the market odds to reprice in real time.
