This market will resolve to "Yes" if the official "Close" price for Meta (META) on the trading day specified in the title is strictly higher than the price specified in the title. A "Close" exactly equal to the specified price resolves to "No". If the market is not open on the specified day (exchange holiday or unscheduled closure), or Meta (META) does not trade at all during that day's regular session, this market resolves 50-50 — each side is paid at half value; this is not a refund. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting Meta (META), this market resolves on split-adjusted prices, and the price specified in the title is adjusted proportionally. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Meta (META) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/META/ under "Historical Prices". If that data is unavailable due to an outage or other technical disruption, the official price published by the primary exchange on which Meta (META) trades governs.

Comparing prediction market odds to analyst forecasts reveals how collective intelligence differs from expert opinion. Often, this market reflects a broader range of factors than traditional analyst reports, incorporating real-time information and diverse perspectives. While analysts may focus on fundamental data and company reports, this market can react quickly to news events, social sentiment, and unexpected developments. Discrepancies between the two can highlight areas where the market anticipates different outcomes than those projected by financial professionals, offering a unique perspective on Meta’s potential trajectory.
On Opinion, this market is priced through a continuous auction where traders buy and sell shares representing their beliefs about the future price of Meta stock. The price of a share reflects the probability of a specific outcome being true. On Opinion, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe an outcome is likely, the higher the price of shares representing that outcome will climb. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to aggregate information from a wide range of participants, creating a forecast that is often more accurate than individual predictions. The current implied probability of various outcomes is constantly updated based on trading activity.
This market resolves around Sep 28, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the resolution will be based on the closing price of Meta stock on that date. The final price will be sourced from a widely recognized financial exchange, ensuring transparency and accuracy. Traders will then be paid out according to their positions in the market, reflecting whether their predictions aligned with the actual stock price at the time of resolution. This provides a clear and objective determination of the market’s outcome.
