This event tracks the weekly usage performance of a specific AI model provider during a defined period. The outcome depends on whether the provider's reported share exceeds various threshold percentages. Data comes from an independent tracking service and is evaluated after the measurement window closes.
All markets in this event resolve based on Meta Llama's text model market share as reported by OpenRouter for the week of October 19, 2026. The resolution occurs at 10:00 AM ET Monday following the measurement period, using values rounded to one decimal place. If Meta Llama's market share appears separately in OpenRouter's source chart, each market resolves to "Yes" only if the reported percentage exceeds its specific threshold (ranging from 1.7% to 2.5%). If Meta Llama is not individually listed—and is instead grouped under "Others" or another category—all markets resolve to "No" regardless of usage levels. Kalshi clarifies it holds no official relationship with OpenRouter, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than traditional analyst forecasts. While analysts rely on models and reports, this market reflects the wisdom of the crowd, incorporating a wider range of information and perspectives. If analysts are consistently predicting a different outcome than what’s priced into this market, it could suggest that traders believe they have access to unique or undervalued information. It’s valuable to compare the implied probabilities from this market against expert opinions to form a more comprehensive view.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous double auction, meaning traders buy and sell contracts representing their beliefs about the outcome. The price of a contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the collective forecast. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market depth and order book are visible on the platform, allowing you to see the current bid and ask prices, and the volume available at each price level. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures the market efficiently incorporates new information.
This market resolves around Nov 2, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on publicly available data regarding Meta’s market share at the specified time. The exact methodology for determining the market share will be based on established industry standards and data sources, ensuring a fair and transparent outcome. Traders will then be paid out based on whether their predictions aligned with the final, verified result.
Several factors could significantly impact this market. Major announcements from Meta regarding new products, strategic partnerships, or financial performance would likely cause price fluctuations. Changes in the competitive landscape, such as moves by competitors like TikTok or Apple, could also shift trader sentiment. Broader economic trends, including shifts in advertising spending or consumer behavior, are relevant. Finally, any significant regulatory developments affecting Meta’s business could move this market as traders adjust their expectations.
