Description

This market will resolve to "Up" if the price for Lockheed Martin (Pyth LMT/USD) on July 13, 2026 is strictly higher than the price for Lockheed Martin (Pyth LMT/USD) on the most recent prior trading day. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The price for Lockheed Martin (Pyth LMT/USD) captured on July 10, 2026 was $523.34555. Resolution source: Pyth LMT/USD price feed. Other exchanges, spot markets, and oracles will not be used. For example, a Monday market would ordinarily compare Monday's price with the previous Friday's price, unless that Friday was a market holiday. In that case, it would compare against Thursday's price, or the next most recent trading day. If Lockheed Martin (LMT) does not trade at all during the regular session on July 13, 2026, this market will resolve to "Down". For a standard full trading session, the price for that trading day refers to the Pyth price at the end of regular trading hours on the primary exchange. If either relevant trading day has no valid Pyth price at the end of regular trading hours on the primary exchange, the last valid Pyth price published during that day's regular trading hours will be used as the effective price for that day. If no valid Pyth price exists for that trading day due to a system outage, data failure, or other technical disruption, the official price published by the primary exchange on which LMT is listed will be used to determine the price for that day. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting LMT during the relevant time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Pyth.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds on this market often diverge from traditional analyst price targets and consensus estimates because traders react in real time to breaking news, earnings surprises, and geopolitical developments affecting defense spending. While Wall Street analysts typically issue quarterly or annual outlooks, this market reprices daily based on collective trader conviction. Comparing the odds here to published analyst sentiment can reveal whether the crowd is more bullish or bearish than the consensus—a useful signal when the two disagree sharply. Traders often spot catalysts before formal analyst revisions appear.

On Limitless, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader buy and sell orders into continuous probability quotes. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome—up or down—has its own price, and the sum of all outcome probabilities equals 100 percent. As more traders bet on one direction, that outcome's price rises and the opposing side falls. The spread between bid and ask tightens as volume increases, rewarding active traders with tighter entry and exit points. This mechanism ensures prices reflect real-time supply and demand for LMT daily moves.

This market resolves around Jul 13, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The up or down determination is based on whether LMT's closing price on the specified day is higher or lower than the previous trading day's close. Once the market close data is published and verified, the winning outcome is locked in and traders' positions settle automatically. Early resolution is possible if the outcome becomes mathematically certain before the end date.

Major catalysts for this market include quarterly earnings announcements, defense contract wins or losses, geopolitical tensions affecting military spending, Federal Reserve interest rate decisions, and broader equity market selloffs or rallies. Regulatory news—such as export controls or sanctions—can also shift sentiment quickly. Insider trading activity, analyst upgrades or downgrades, and macroeconomic data releases often trigger sharp repricing. Supply chain disruptions, CEO commentary, and competitor announcements round out the list. Traders monitor these signals closely to adjust positions ahead of the daily close.
