Prediction market odds often differ from traditional polling averages because they incorporate money flows and trader sentiment rather than just voter surveys. This market may show a different leading candidate or probability spread compared to published polls, reflecting what traders are willing to pay for outcomes. Traders may react faster to breaking news or local events that polls haven’t captured yet.
This market resolves around Aug 30, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the election results are verifiable from credible public reporting. The final tally of valid votes will determine the winner, and the market will close once official sources announce the certified results. No further trading will occur after the market settles based on this verified data.
Key events such as candidate debates, polling updates, scandals, or shifts in campaign momentum could move this market. Economic announcements, local issues gaining national attention, or changes in voter turnout expectations may also influence trader sentiment. Natural disasters or logistical challenges affecting voting could create volatility, with rapid shifts in odds reflecting new information as it emerges.
