This market will resolve to "Up" if the Hyperliquid price at the end of the time range specified in the title is greater than or equal to the price at the beginning of that range. Otherwise, it will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Chainlink, specifically the HYPE/USD data stream available at https://data.chain.link/streams/hype-usd. Please note that this market is about the price according to Chainlink data stream HYPE/USD, not according to other sources or spot markets.
On Polymarket, the Hyperliquid Up or Down event is priced as a binary contract where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The Up outcome reflects the probability that Hyperliquid's price closes higher at 12:00AM ET than it opens at 8:00PM ET on June 4. Conversely, the Down outcome prices the chance of a lower or flat close. Prices move continuously as new orders flow in, with the spread between bid and ask reflecting market liquidity and uncertainty. Higher prices on either side indicate stronger trader conviction in that direction.
The market resolves at Jun 5, 2026, marking the end of the four-hour trading window. Resolution is determined by comparing Hyperliquid's price at the close of the window (12:00AM ET on June 5) to its opening price at 8:00PM ET on June 4. If the closing price is higher, the Up outcome wins. If it is lower or equal, the Down outcome wins. This straightforward price comparison ensures clear, objective settlement based on verifiable market data from the specified timeframe.
Several catalysts could influence Hyperliquid's price during this four-hour window. Major crypto market moves—such as Bitcoin or Ethereum volatility, regulatory announcements, or macroeconomic data releases—often ripple through altcoins including Hyperliquid. Exchange listings, partnership news, or protocol updates specific to Hyperliquid could spark directional momentum. On-chain metrics like trading volume spikes or whale transactions may signal institutional interest. Additionally, broader market sentiment shifts, Fed commentary, or geopolitical events during the evening hours could drive short-term price action. Monitoring these signals helps traders assess which outcome is more likely to occur.
