Frequently asked questions

On Polymarket, the dashboard for the Hyperliquid price movement market displays real-time odds reflecting trader sentiment on whether the asset will move up or down during the specified four-hour window. You can monitor the current probability, historical price charts, and trading activity as participants buy and sell shares. The interface shows how conviction shifts as new information emerges, giving you a live snapshot of market expectations for this specific intraday interval.

Prediction market odds often diverge from spot price momentum because they incorporate longer-term sentiment and risk premiums beyond immediate technical signals. While spot traders react to minute-by-minute volatility, this market aggregates belief about a four-hour directional move, blending technical analysis, news flow, and broader crypto sentiment. The odds reflect what informed traders collectively expect, not just current momentum—making them a useful cross-check against your own price outlook.

On Polymarket, traders set the odds by buying and selling shares of each outcome—up or down. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the probability assigned by the market; as more capital flows into one side, that outcome's price rises and its implied probability increases. This continuous auction mechanism ensures prices stay responsive to new information and trader conviction throughout the event window.

This market resolves around Jun 25, 2026, after the four-hour trading window closes. The outcome is determined by verifying the actual price movement of Hyperliquid against credible public sources, confirming whether the asset closed higher or lower than its opening level during that interval. Once the event is confirmed and the result is clear, the market settles and winning shares are redeemed at full value.

Major catalysts include Hyperliquid protocol updates, exchange listings or delistings, shifts in broader crypto market sentiment, Bitcoin or Ethereum volatility, regulatory announcements affecting the sector, and on-chain activity metrics. Macro events—Federal Reserve decisions, risk-off sentiment—can also drive intraday crypto moves. Technical levels and order-book imbalances matter too; large liquidations or whale transactions during the window could trigger sharp directional moves that traders will price in ahead of time.
