This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the HYPE/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the HYPE/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/futures/HYPEUSDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance HYPE/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
On Polymarket, HYPE Up or Down - June 8, 3AM ET is priced as a binary contract where each outcome token trades continuously. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current odds reflect the probability implied by the ratio of up and down tokens in the automated market maker pool. As traders buy or sell either outcome, the price adjusts in real time. Higher trading volume typically narrows spreads and improves price discovery. You can enter or exit your position at any time before the June 8, 3AM ET resolution timestamp, allowing flexible exposure management as new information about HYPE emerges.
Several catalysts could shift HYPE's price and thus the market odds. Major announcements from the HYPE team, regulatory news affecting crypto assets, or shifts in broader market sentiment (Bitcoin, Ethereum moves) often trigger directional momentum. On-chain metrics such as large wallet transfers, exchange inflows, or developer activity can signal conviction among informed traders. Macroeconomic events, Fed policy updates, or competing project launches may also influence sentiment. Social media trends and influencer commentary can amplify volatility. Monitoring these signals alongside the prediction market odds helps you gauge whether the current pricing reflects all available information or if an edge exists.
