This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the HYPE/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the HYPE/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/futures/HYPEUSDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance HYPE/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
HYPE Up or Down - June 4, 9AM ET is priced on Polymarket as a binary contract where traders buy or sell shares representing "Up" or "Down" outcomes. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current implied probability reflects the ratio of shares held and traded; higher demand for one outcome pushes its price upward. Polymarket uses an automated market maker model, so prices adjust continuously based on order flow. Traders can enter or exit positions at any time before Jun 4, 2026, and the final settlement price is determined by the actual HYPE price movement on the specified date and time.
The HYPE Up or Down - June 4, 9AM ET market resolves on Jun 4, 2026. Resolution is determined by HYPE's price movement at the specified time of 9AM ET on June 4. The outcome is binary: either the price moves up from the opening level, or it moves down. Once the resolution time passes, the market settles based on verified price data, and traders receive payouts according to which outcome occurred. All open positions are closed automatically at settlement.
HYPE's price direction by June 4 could be influenced by major crypto market movements, regulatory announcements affecting the broader sector, or project-specific developments such as partnerships, product launches, or governance decisions. Macro factors like Bitcoin or Ethereum volatility often drive altcoin sentiment. On-chain metrics such as whale transactions, exchange inflows, or holder concentration changes can signal trader positioning. Social media momentum, exchange listings, or technical chart patterns may also sway short-term price action. Monitoring these signals helps traders assess whether current Polymarket odds fairly reflect the risk-reward for the June 4 event.
