This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the HYPE/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the HYPE/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/futures/HYPEUSDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance HYPE/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
On Polymarket, HYPE Up or Down - June 4, 8AM ET is priced as a binary contract with two outcomes: up or down. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current implied probability reflects the ratio of yes and no shares traded, with prices ranging from 0 to 1 (or 0% to 100%). Traders buy and sell shares based on their conviction about which direction HYPE will move by 8AM ET on June 4. Polymarket's automated market maker adjusts prices continuously as new trades flow in, ensuring the contract remains liquid and responsive to new information or sentiment shifts.
The HYPE Up or Down - June 4, 8AM ET market resolves on Jun 4, 2026. Resolution is determined by HYPE's price movement relative to the specified threshold at exactly 8AM ET on June 4. The outcome is binary: either the up condition is met or the down condition is met. Once the resolution timestamp passes, the market settles based on the observed price data, and traders receive payouts proportional to their winning position. No trading occurs after the resolution time.
HYPE's price direction by June 4 could be influenced by major crypto market moves, regulatory announcements, or HYPE-specific developments such as protocol upgrades, partnership news, or exchange listings. Broader macroeconomic events—interest rate decisions, inflation data, or risk-on/risk-off sentiment shifts—often drive the entire crypto sector. Social media momentum, whale transactions, and technical chart patterns can accelerate short-term volatility. Traders monitoring these catalysts adjust their positions on Polymarket ahead of the 8AM ET snapshot, making early signal detection crucial for prediction market success.
