This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the HYPE/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the HYPE/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/futures/HYPEUSDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance HYPE/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect trader expectations about HYPE's directional movement, which may diverge from current spot price levels or analyst forecasts. While spot prices show the asset's present market value, prediction odds incorporate forward-looking sentiment and uncertainty about the June 4 event. Comparing the two reveals whether the market is pricing in bullish or bearish momentum. Traders often use this gap to identify potential mispricings relative to technical analysis, on-chain signals, or consensus analyst views.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. HYPE Up or Down - June 4, 10AM ET is priced on Polymarket through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. The current implied probability reflects the balance of buy and sell orders at any moment. As new information emerges or sentiment shifts, prices adjust in real time. Liquidity and trading volume influence how quickly prices move and how tight the bid-ask spread remains, directly affecting execution costs for traders entering or exiting positions.
Several catalysts could influence HYPE's direction before June 4. Major developments include protocol upgrades, regulatory announcements, macroeconomic shifts affecting crypto sentiment, and shifts in on-chain activity or developer momentum. Social media trends, exchange listings, and partnerships can also drive short-term volatility. Traders should monitor news feeds, community channels, and technical levels to anticipate moves. Broader Bitcoin and Ethereum price action often correlates with altcoin performance, making macro crypto trends a key watch point leading up to the event.
