This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the HYPE/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the HYPE/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/futures/HYPEUSDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance HYPE/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect aggregated trader expectations about HYPE's directional move by June 2, 7AM ET, which may differ from current spot price levels or analyst forecasts. While spot price shows the asset's value right now, the market odds incorporate forward-looking sentiment, volatility expectations, and event-specific catalysts that traders believe will influence HYPE between now and resolution. Comparing these two perspectives helps traders identify whether the market is pricing in more bullish or bearish momentum than current price action alone would suggest.
The market resolves on Jun 2, 2026, marking the official deadline for determining whether HYPE moved up or down as specified. At that time, the outcome is finalized based on HYPE's price action relative to the defined threshold or comparison point established in the event criteria. Traders who correctly predicted the direction receive their payout, while those on the losing side forfeit their stake. The resolution process is automated once the deadline passes and the necessary data is confirmed.
Several catalysts could influence HYPE's direction before June 2, 7AM ET, including major protocol announcements, regulatory developments, macroeconomic shifts affecting crypto markets, and shifts in trader sentiment on social media or within the community. Technical levels and support or resistance zones may also trigger momentum shifts. Unexpected partnerships, security incidents, or changes in network activity could rapidly alter market expectations. Traders monitor these signals closely and adjust their positions accordingly, which in turn moves the prediction market odds as new information becomes available.
