This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the HYPE/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the HYPE/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/futures/HYPEUSDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance HYPE/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect trader consensus on HYPE's directional movement by June 2, 12AM ET, which may differ from current spot price sentiment or analyst forecasts. While spot markets react to immediate price action, prediction markets price in longer-term expectations and tail risks over the full event window. Comparing the implied probability from Polymarket to traditional analyst price targets or social media sentiment can reveal whether traders are more or less bullish than the broader market consensus.
On Polymarket, HYPE Up or Down - June 2, 12AM ET is priced as a binary outcome with two competing contracts: one for HYPE moving up and one for HYPE moving down by the resolution deadline. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current odds reflect the proportion of trading volume and open interest backing each side. As traders buy and sell shares, prices adjust to equilibrate supply and demand, with the winning outcome eventually settling at 100 cents and the losing outcome at zero.
The market resolves on Jun 2, 2026. Resolution is determined by HYPE's price direction at the specified time, with the outcome settled based on whether the asset closes above or below its reference price at that moment. Traders should monitor the exact resolution criteria and any official announcements from the market operator to ensure clarity on how the final price will be measured and confirmed.
Key catalysts for HYPE include major product announcements, regulatory developments, shifts in broader crypto market sentiment, and changes in trading volume or exchange listings. Macroeconomic events affecting risk appetite, competitor news, and social media momentum can also drive directional moves. Traders should monitor HYPE's on-chain metrics, developer activity, partnership announcements, and correlation with Bitcoin and Ethereum, as these factors often precede significant price movements in the weeks leading up to June 2.
