This event group tracks whether the HYPE token price moves up or down on June 17, 2026 at 5 PM ET. Polymarket resolves based on Binance HYPE/USDT 1-hour candle open vs. close, while Kalshi uses CF Benchmarks' HYPEUSD_RTI 60-second average. The two platforms employ fundamentally different data sources and measurement methodologies.
This market will resolve to "Up" if the close price is greater than or equal to the open price for the HYPE/USDT 1 hour candle that begins on the time and date specified in the title. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "Down". The resolution source for this market is information from Binance, specifically the HYPE/USDT pair (https://www.binance.com/en/futures/HYPEUSDT). The close « C » and open « O » displayed at the top of the graph for the relevant "1H" candle will be used once the data for that candle is finalized. Please note that this market is about the price according to Binance HYPE/USDT, not according to other exchanges or trading pairs.
Resolution is determined by the simple average of sixty seconds of CF Benchmarks' HYPEUSD Real-Time Index (RTI) prices collected immediately before 5 PM EDT on June 17, 2026. Each outcome corresponds to a specific price threshold; the market resolves to Yes for the outcome matching the final averaged price. For example, the '$53 or above' outcome resolves Yes if the average exceeds $52.9999, while '$54 or above' requires the average to exceed $53.9999. CF Benchmarks' RTI is the official price source, not alternative platforms like Google or Coinbase. Sixty individual RTI prices are sampled in the final minute before expiration, and their arithmetic mean determines the resolution.
